(prepare to be invaded mister!)
Sarge walked the streets he had seen two junkyards with no pack he was old and needed a group to live with he was wise and knew about fighting so perhaps another male would appreciate him that or they wouldnt want him there, old dogs were thrown a side like trash, not appreciated, he wanted a pack more fo rthe pup, he needed to learn and there were things that sarge either didint have the energy for or he coudlnt teach him, no matter how wise sarge was he had still been a pet for years,
so in her walked he had his tail down and his silvery head was low, his bright blue eye scanned the place his blind eye following but not seeing anythign of course because well it was blind.
she didint see anyone yet perhaps this junkyard was packless too, and then it came.
"what are we doing sarge i want to go play come on play hide and go seek with me, you know you wanna, i'll hide and you come find me"
Puddles bound up behind him mumbling his words as he had sarges tail in his mouth.
"will you pipe down you little runt"

The chow was laying on his back in the sun, a very comfy content sort of smile upon his muzzle. His thoughts and dreams were occupied by his mate, Desiree and the pups that he hoped they would have together. Two boys and two girls, perfectly even. The boys looked like liver-merle colored chows and they were perfect gentlemen, always asking the girl's opinions on matters, acting very protective of the land and their sisters and always obeying their parent's orders but not without thinking on ways to improve them. The girls were white, fluffy hounds, acting very sweet and caring and constantly grooming themselves, each other and their parents. It was a perfect scene...
But two strange scents made the dream fade away, and the brute was forced to roll over sluggishly, sensitive nares searching for the scent source. Still moving slowly and with little interest, the chow moved out of the sunshine and into the depths of the junkyard, amongst the towering piles of junk and the tall stacks of cars and stuff. Rounding a corner, the sight he'd been expecting came to view. Two wayward brute seemed to be looking for something... Putting on his toughest face, Zeus powered forward, his tail up and ears erect, curled tail as high as it could go.
"You there. Can I help you with something?"

Sarge looked at this stronger younger brute and a smile came onto his greyed muzzle, he was old and half blind and weak in his limbs arthiritis set in a few years ago and his hips wernt too good but he was smart, he posed no threat, and puddles stopped jumping around when he saw the big chow chow and sat behind sarge.
"ive been searching thejunkyards of the city for a place to call home for my final years of life, and the rest of this pups, his mother left him and im the only family hes got now, and i am old and cannot care for myself anymorte let alone a younge puppy."

As rounded ears listened to the elder canine's tale, dark amber optics looked around the husky to gaze at the border collie pup curiously. He would make a string hunter once he was of age, something Zeus realized he'd need at some point. Looking back to the husk, the chow nodded slowly. Finally, some more members...
"You may stay with my pack if you like. I do expect both you and the pup to assist in this pack's expansion and the protection of the terra. Obviously not to the degree of most other members but I still expect some. Age is no excuse for ignorance of the pack..."
Giving both canine's a stern look for a moment, it was quickly changed to a softer gaze, letting the mood lighten a bit.
"As such, I feel that introductions are in order. I am Zeus, the Alpha male and the master of the land. You might come across a leopard hound at some point. She is my mate, Desiree and you will treat just as well. And you are?"

Nodding in acceptance of the husky, deep amber gaze shifted then to the pup as he crawled out from behind the elder canine. Forcing himself to smile softly at the obviously nervous little creature, the chow nodded to him as well.
"It's nice to meet you Puddles. Sorry to say but there aren't any other youngsters about for you to play with... not yet anyway. But, with some luck, there will be soon."
Turning his attention back to the husky, the chow's smile dropped a bit, just because he was tired of wearing it.
"Would you two like to get out of the sun? Come. There is an old van of some sort over here. Nice plush carpet inside for us to lay on as we chat..."

Sarge bowed his crown to zeus and signalled for puddles to follow him, sarge was biugger than the average husky but now he just looked worn, he had grey fur and his hips wernt good he walked with a bitof a limp now and again if it was a bad day.
"good idea."

Forcing another grin, the chow turned about slowly, glancing over his shoulder before trotting off a short ways. He trotted along side a few stacks of cars, making a bit of an alley between themselves and the fence. Once he reached the end, he paused to make sure his new pack mates were keeping up before turning right and trotting on. His pace was slower than usual but not too slow. He was a dog of action and hated it when things took to long. Patience was not one of his virtues. Another turn and they were face to face with the back end of a white van, the back doors open to reveal a comfy looking cargo area lined with shaggy violent carpeting. leaping inside, Zeus walked in a few short circles before laying down lazily at the edge. His keen gaze watching the terra for more interlopers...

There was no way puddles would be able to leap into the van so sarge took hold of him by his scruff to puddles shock and threw him in, then climbing in carefully himself groaning a little with the pains of old age, he lay down without much caring puddles stauying sat his tongue out.

Watching both the new members and the horizon for any more potential, the chow kept quiet for a short moment. His mind was preoccupied with other, more pressing matters. He and Desiree would need to find a den of some sort for their family to live in. He would volunteer to do it himself, not wanting to stress his mate but, knowing her stubborn streak, she would not have it so. Grinning mindlessly, the alpha shook his dome free of such distracting thoughts and turned about slightly to better face his new pack mates, a grin still upon his muzzle.
"So, you guys from around here?"

Watching his new pack mates with interest, the chow tilted his head to one side in curiosity. Well, partially in curiosity. Most of it was actually a stupid habit he'd kept since puppyhood. He had hoped to kick it eventually but he was four now and still his head insisted on tilting.
"Battles? What kind of battles?"

Lifting both eyebrows with more than a little interest as the elder canine told his little story, the chow couldn't help but get a little curious. He had heard about the thing humans called war and he'd seen pictures of it on various items like newspapers, DVD cases, video cassettes and other little trinkets that made their way into his terra. There were even a few green-painted jeeps and humvees laying about, but they did little for him. For some reason, humans took the roofs off the jeeps and humvees were hard to get into but they were cool to look at.
"Woah. That's pretty cool. So, tell me, was it violent? I heard humans were ruthless fighters..."
