Viper trotted up to the door of one trailer in the trailer park. he pawed at it and barked until an old lady came out. She told him he was cute and gave him some bread. Then she went back inside. He didn't normally beg for food but he was hungry. He'd rather beg than starve. He moved to the next house and did the same thing. This time a man came out and chased him off. But Viper was too stubborn to stop there. He went to the next trailer and this time he got a peice of meat loaf. Now that he was satisfied, he sat down and barked loudly, looking for another canine to talk to.

Depressed as usual, the slender figure of a very malnourished hound walked slowly into the trailer park, desaturated gray gaze shifting between the houses. The people inside looked so happy, the smiles were wide as they chatted near the windows where the Ibizan hound could see them. They seemed happy enough, and they should very well be. There was no reason for them not. They were cozy and safe inside their little houses, surrounded by friends and family that loved them. He, on the other hand, was stuck outside in the cold in the winter and the heat in the summer, forced to eek out a meager living begging for table scraps and sleeping on subway platforms. He did not deserve to be happy...
Sighing aloud, the brute pressed onward, his head down now and swinging from side to side. The sound of a voice made him look up. Down the path was a larger German Shepherd. He was receiving meat from a human family who watched him eat, smiles on their faces. When he was finished, they retreated into their snug little home, probably to watch tv and to enjoy each other's company. They were so lucky to have what they did... Not wanting to be around others at the moment, the hound began to turn back around and find somewhere else to be miserable...

Viper saw the other male down the path and barked to him. Where are you going firend? He liked meeting new friends and this dog was no acception. He stood up and trotted over. His red eyes took in everything about the other dog. He sat down and smiled. Hi, I'm Viper. Who are you? And where were you going?[Love your siggy btw Disturbed. Sobek looks so sad with the tears and everything. ]

The Ibizan hound had almost completely turned about when the other canine called to him. He didn't want to turn around and greet the other but it wasn't everyday someone talked to him like he was a living breathing being. Looking over his shoulder skittishly, the male shrunk back under the crimson gaze of the shepherd. This new dog was much bigger than the scrawny Ibizan hound, both in height and in weight. The hound wanted no part in a fight with this brute. Cringing, the smaller animal kept low to the ground, ears back and tail tucked under. He would want not make this bull angry...
"I was..."
The skinny little hound paused after that, trailing off into an awkward train of thought. Where was he going to go? Shaking his head from side to side smoothly, he tried again.
"I don't know where I was going... I didn't want to bother you..."
Still feeling beyond awkward and getting fidgety beneath the powerful shepherd's dissecting gaze, silver gaze avoided eye contact with the larger animal...
"I'm Sobek... why would you wanna know?"
((Thanks! ;D))

Viper stared at the other male. He tilted his head to one side in thought. This stranger seemed sad and he wanted to help. He scooted a little closer and smiled. You're not bothering me. He stared at Sobek with crimson orbs. He really felt sorry for him but didn't know why. he just seemed so sad. I like making new friends. Don't you?

When the larger brute scooted closer, the Ibizan hound moved away a bit. The whole situation was a bit too fast for the skittish creature and he just wanted to get away. he had no right to be here, to talk to such a gorgeous creature like this shepherd. He was a scrawny pathetic whimpering worthless piece of nuts. but this critter Viper was a gorgeous example of a shepherd, bright red optics that seemed to light the air around them a blaze. For them to land upon his carcass the way they were would just tarnish their beauty, his foul being mucking them up the way it had messed his once green orbs...
"I've... I've never had any friends... I don't deserve them..."

Viper looked at the male with disbelief. He couldn't believe that he had no friends. He could never live like that. He lived to talk and loved talking to everyone. What do you mean you don't deserve them? He smiled wide. Everyone deserves friends! Heck, I'll be your friend if you want... I said before, I like to meet new friends. Viper stared at the brute thoughtfully. He seemed really sad and Viper couldn't figure out what would make him think that way.

The sight hound dropped his gaze slowly to his feet at the shepherd's question. Not because he was embarrassed or anything, he just had no idea how to answer such questions. Shifting slightly and looking away, Sobek gave the shepherd a curious glance out of the corner of one silver-grey eye. Why was this brute so persistent in his quest to make Sobek his friend? He didn't deserve friends...
"Thanks but... you just don't know. I'm telling you, i don't deserve friends... especially not a caring one like yourself..."

Viper cocked his head. What do you mean? Everyone deserves friends. No matter what you did or what life did to you, there's nothing that can keep you from making firends. What's happened happened. There's no need to keep thinking about it. He stood up, staring at the brute. Come on. let's get you something to eat. You look like you need it.

The hound gave the shepherd a curious glance with almost lifeless silver gaze. He wanted to believe what this brute was saying. It sounded like a good idea, a hopeful thought that the hopelessly depressed canine would've loved to believe but he'd lived his whole life with one sense of mind and it would take much more than one sentence to change that. But he could do something about his hunger right now...
"Um... O-okay..."
