The annoying pitter-patter of heavy drops of rain rang out through the park, each trailer adding its own melody to whole soothing tune. It was a pity he could not pause to enjoy it but right now, he was out in the open and needed to change that. With his head down and his crimson gaze squinted, the heavy-set form of a big Alaskan Malamute trotted quickly across the park, looking back and forth desperately for a large enough trailer for his huge bodice to squeeze beneath. Only one of many problems big dogs like himself had to face. No matter, nothing he could do about it. Originally white mitts were now covered in thick, brown chunky clumps of mud and his white chest hairs were matted together in a very disheveled fashion. He needed to find some shelter, lest he gain twenty pounds from his wet hair.
Finally, toward the back of the park, crimson gaze landed upon a discarded shack behind an apparently abandoned trailer. The door was hanging off the hinges and swung lightly in the breeze. Perfect! Smiling wide, the brute sprinted eagerly toward the shack, happy to get out of the rain finally. He skidded inside, pausing to shake himself clear of dead hairs and as much water as possible. His coat had two layers, the top one made to repel water rather than absorb it so, when the shaking was done, the malamute was actually mostly dry. Letting a smile cross his broad muzzle, Magnum sank to his rump in the corner of the empty shack and began licking his fur clean idly...

White paws hit the ground as she wandered through the trailor park. She was new here and had no idea where she was. She looked around and thought she heard something, she looked around and sniffed the air. All the scents were washed away by the rain, she had no clue that there was a dog near by as she went and slid under a trailor. It was dark and damp but it was the best she could do.

The malamute looked up from his grooming when he caught scent of the female, his crimson gaze catching a glimpse of her skerting beneath a trailer. At least she seemed to find her own shelter. He was a kind brute and would never leave someone out in the rain. Smiling, softly, he returned to his licking idly, glancing up every now and then to see what the female was doing...

She heard movement and lifted her head from her forpaws. Through the darkness she could just make out the shape of a dog who's there, who are you! she demanded. She licked her jowls with a soft growl.

When her sudden outburst reached his auds, the brute looked up quickly. Having been in mid lick, his tongue now stuck out of the front of his muzzle dumbfoundedly, crimson gaze a bit wide. But, he managed to regain his composure, sucking his tongue in with a loud slurp. He could barely see the other dog, the shadows beneath the trailer hiding her form. Clearing his throat, Magnum called out to her himself.
"Jus' a gen'al soul tryin' ta get clean. Who ask's?"

She rolled her eyes as he replied, I ask! My name is Feli, top of the line Border Collie, and you are? she asked coolly, then she moved closer to him and gave his a swift lick on the paw.

The malamute let his head tilt to the side curiously, a strange look on his face like an idiot trying to factor a quadratic equation. But he snapped out of it soon enough. Minor bout of stupidity, happened all the time.
"Oh! Uh... Me name's Magnum. Nice ta meet'cha sheela."

The storm broke at that moment and the rain stoped. where do you live, why do you stay here, I have nowere to go, but look at me...what's to love about this? she was very beautiful, but she thought herself as not pretty. She looked at him, well I'm, just gonna go, I think it would be better for the both of us...bye she licked his cheek and slid out from under the tailor. She stood there for a moment the started to wlak away.

Magnum was very confused by the fae's sudden questions, her sudden guilt trip and her spontaneous dicision to walk away. Now, being the friendliest thing on four legs, he was not about to simply let her walk away like that. Plus he hated being confused... Tilting his head to one side curiously, the malamute trotted out of his resting place in the shed, sprinting down the path that the border collie had departed on and swiftly pulling up beside her.
"Hang on there, sheela. Wha' kinda conversation was that? Askin' a bunch o' questions an' leavin'. What's your hurry anyway?"

Feli looked at him and stopped. I just thought it would be better for me to leave, and not ask so many stupid questions. And why are you following my, you're not some love sick puppy are you? she asked then continued to walk.

"There's no such thing as a stupid question, sheela."
Even as she continued to walk, the malamute followed swiftly, his pace rhythmic, almost like music. Regarding her with a strange yet curious gaze, he couldn't help but laugh loudly at her statement.
"Me? Love-sick? Naw, I'm jus' a real friendly sort 'o guy. I like to talk a bit, ya know? But what we did back there was not talkin'."

She rolled her eyes and luaghed. She picked up speed, well if you're coming then come on! I'm getting out of town, well I guess not, just going to the river. she looked at him with a warm stare. If he was coming then she wouldn't mind she had been by herself for some time and was clearly getting old by the fact of how nice and welcoming she was to Magnu.

Watching her form trot away from him a bit, the malamute couldn't help but grin abit. She was a strange one this one. Not strange as in crazy or scary, but interestingly strange. Tilting his head to one side, the brute began to pick up his own speed, keeping just behind the fae rather than along side her. A nice little trip to the river would be nice...
