The dog turned back at the sound. She may not have been the nicest of dogs, but she was not cold hearted bitch. She softly padded back tworads him. He didn't seem the type to talk, or answer questions, but maybe if she got him to trust her. Fat cahnce of that happening. Andyone who knew anyhting about her would balk at the very thought of trusting her. And he could probably geuss her past, becuase she had been a fool enough to shsow him her tattoo. They had been right, the brand had indeed marked her forever.
I am sorry. I seriously wasn't right in calling you mean. I was being selfish. ANd I'm not trying to make you happy. I was. Bribing you in a way that made me seem better. But really, chances are any dog in this god-forsaken city is better than me. But hey, I'm not ashamed. I am what I am, not chanign for anyhting. But I was outo of line calling you that, she said. And she meant it too.

Lifting one paw slightly so that he may look at her, the hound simply snorted. He tried his best to look like he was fine, like there was nothing wrong but he was a bad lier and everytime he'd try to wipe the tears off his face, fresh ones would fall in their place.
"You were right... I was the wrong one. I shouldn't have bothered you or acted like that.. Someone finally wants to help and I shun them away like the garbage I am..."

Who doesn't balk at that. I would, the dog said, a bitter smile slipping through her mask. She truned. If you want, I'll go now, she said. Her delicate paws took her one step, but she pasued to hear the verdict. Hands are shaking cold these hands are made to hold speak to me when all you've gotta keep it strong move along move along like I've known you too And even when your hope is gone move along move along just to make it through move along

Staying where lay, letting the white paw fall back over his face, the hound simply shook his head.
"What I want is of little importance..."

A white and chestnut hound ran at full speed past the two dogs, a bucket was clenched between his jaws. He sprinted down to the lake and filled the bucket. He turned around struggling to keep the bucket upright. A sense of urgency showed in his every move, he walked quickly back the way he had come his sides heaving from the long run.
OOC: You can pretty much just ignore that lol like you don't need to talk to him or anything.

[OOC] I'll take your word for it, Lol.[/OOC]
Why? Why do you act like that? SHe asked him stalking over to him, fiery eyes burnign holes through him. Her angry steps were elegant, and her delicate face looked almost pixie-like as she scowled at him. Though her black pelt did not bristle, her eyes said enough.

Lifting his paw again to watch the strangerrace past, the hound couldn't help but watch him with wide silver eyes. It was another ibizan hound... The thought of another from his country made him happy, yet at the same time it scared him. What if he was like the others? Jerking his head down, the brute focused his gaze heavily on the path between his paws. he wouldn't risk it. Besides, that stranger seemed to have more important matters to attend to...
"Because it's the truth. How am I supposed to think? like you?"

I chime in Haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door? no, it's better to face these things with a sense of poise and ratianlity I geuss What do you mean by that? Why can't you be happy? Or at least not suicidally depressive. Maybe I should follow you around being deprssingly perky, she said, a bitter, wry smile curling across her lips. Hah, that would be... interesting. She wasn't particularly good at being pery, but she oculd learn.

Sniffling still, the hound didn't dare look up at the fae, trying his best to keep the glare on his face. He was so pathetically weak and worthless, crying over nothing for no reason in front of a complete stranger. No wonder his was hated by everyone. he didn't deserve someone's care or support... But rather than reject the female, he simply looked away from her, keeping an almost determined gaze on the horizon to his right.

Or you can ignore me, she said softly eyes watchign him for a moment. Then seh turned her face away but sat down, a determined angle to her chin. Her eyes were sad for a moment, then they became gaurded. Haunted. Hollow.

The brute eventually tore his gaze from the distance, his silver gaze focusing on hers for a moment before falling to the ground slowly.
"No... I will not ignore you. That's not very nice... even rude..."
Those were two things the hound was very adement about not being. He was never rude or arrogant or disrespectful, he had no right to be. He was blessed by another's company and anyone who would waste the time and breath to talk to his worthless hide deserved nothing less than his utter respect and praise...
"But I know nothing of you... I don't think i want to tell you anything... I don't even know your name..."

Let's see. I'm called Darkangel. Let's start with names. Will you tell me that much? her voice was light, and she raised a brow, daring him to tell her. Her black peltshifted as a cool wind swept over the park, the scent of smoke thick on it.She wrinkeled her nose delicatley for a moment then brought her attention back to the other dog. She was practically aching to know what made him so... depressed. He kind of reminded her or herself after... that event. But she owuld not think of it now, there was not a worse time, in reality. Again, the hound looked at her skeptically. He wasn't sure he wanted her to know his name. Back when he was a pup, others had sneered at his name, laughing at him and tormenting him just based on that. He hated his call with all his being but there was nothing turly he could do about it... so it remained. But this female could not speak his native tongue and probably didn't even know where Africa was. She would not laugh... Besides, she already told him her name, now it was his turn to return the favor...
"Sobek..."

Cool. Thanks for telling me, seh said, eyes lighting up slightly. She didn't knwo why she bothered, but she really wanted to help thei dog out. And it might take some work. She let a comfterble silence drag out, her lazy grin fading from her beautiful face.

Still unsure of the whole situation, the hound kept his head down but his gaze was still focused on the female's face. He was very curious as to why she was so adiment about finding some stuff out about him, but he wasn't sure he wanted to know...
"Um... you're welcome... I guess..."
