She gave him a smug grin.
I love it when it's sunny, she commented, rolling onto her belly for a moment before flipping back over. Her eyes were half closed as she basked in the sunlight.

The hound watched her move about, his mind more confused than ever. She didn't leave? He had been sure she would've walked off by now, like everyone else. But she stayed, stayed right here with him for some reason. He wanted to know why... Realizing he was staring, Sobek turned away quickly, focusing his gaze elsewhere.
"Um... yeah... I-It's nice..."

She hid a grin then stretched out, riasign her head so she was elegantly reclining once more.
Where I come from it was always icy and cold, so this is great for me, she said, looking mournfully at the sun, before a smile crept onto her delicate face. Then she cocked her ehad, and brought her gaze back down.

Shuffing his paws back and forth across the ground idly, the hound laid his head down slowly, heaving a sigh from his promonent rib cage. His silver gaze mindlessly watched some birds swooping about in the slowly chilling air. Autumn was approaching...
"Where I come from... it was always sunny. If the sun wasn't out it was raining or night time... I guess I can't appreciate quite as much as you."

Lucky. But I suppose it's not always like this? She said, not making any effort to get him to tell her where he was from. But her question was real. She ahdn't spent much time in this city and wondered what the climates were like. She shifted, and stretched out her front legs for a moment, before setteling in the grass.

"No... It gets pretty cold in the winter..."
Sighing softly, the hound laid his slim head down on the path, ignoring the strange looks the pair got every now and again as humans passed by. Humans never really botheredhim, they just never really helped him either...

Joy. More sleet, she said sarcastically, quirking a brow at him. She rolled her eyes at her own sarcasm, andnarrowed her eyes at a lurking toddeler.

He managed to fake a grin at the female's sarcasm. She sounded about as enthused as he had been...
"Not just sleet either... Sleet, snow, and ice. Sometimes all at the same time. It gets pretty dang cold up here..."

Looking up suddenly, the hound was definately sad to see the female go but she probably had a life to live and things to do. No reason for her to sit around his sorry smelly carcass. Not lik he was an interesting character anyway. Letting his gaze mindlessly fall to the ground once again, the brute looked back up suddenly when he noticed the female's pause.
"N-Nice meeting you too."

Like I said: I'll be seeing you around. Later, The slim black dog said, giving him a parting, cocky grin. Then she padded off to find somthign to eat. Then she might go and find him again. He was cool, if not a talker. She was surprised he ahdn't lost his temper and told her to get lost. But she liked making freinds, and she liked challenges. And she knew they weren't really freinds right now, and it would be a challenge to make him like her. Or atleast show it in some way.

Watching the female disappear into the distance, the hound gave a soft sigh, getting slowly to his feet at the same time. Head down as always, he continued on his previos route... to nowhere. Not like he had anyplace to go to anyhow. Walking away from his spot slowly, the brute was soon to disappear as well, his lithe form climbing the slight slope of a hill before vanishing over the crest...
