With his head down, Zeus loped toward the gate that led into his terra. Underneath his father's body and between his powerful churrning legs, Derringer sprinted on his little puppy legs in a pitiful attempt to keep under his father and out of the sudden showers. The chow had been aware of the strom's approach but the rain had started up sooner than expected. Somewhere behind them, Harley was following. He could here her claws clicking on the pavement... Grinning slightly, the larger male veered off into the Junkyard quickly, slowing his trot as they approached a disgarded cuboard. promptly crawling inside, the father-son pair shook themselves simultaneously and looked to enterence to the cupboard for their doberman friend...

As harley followed them she looked around, Hmm this place looks familar. But it smelt different "Maybe ive seen it in a dream or something?" she then went and shook her pelt before going and sitting beside the chow that called himself Zeus she then said "Nice place"

The chow smiled at the doberman, tiliting his head to one side and glancing outside the cupboard curiously. She was right. This was a beautiful junkyard, with lots of space and plenty of places to take refuge in...
"Yeah, I guess it is, huh?"
He wasn't sure what to say to that. It was a lot full of human trash, particularly cars and junk. It smelled like old meat, there were flies everywhere and the birds that flew around never shut up... but it was a nice place to live... Except the traffic was a bit annoying.

Harley smiled at him but didnt say much more. This place looked alot like her old home. It made her sick to her stomach it reminded her of Ambervoke. She laid down with a small puppyish sigh.

Derringer watched the doberman with a distatseful glare. He didn't like her much, but then, he didn't like anyone really. His family members were all idiots, his dad was too soft, he had no friends. Everyone was his enemy... And he had no idea why this particular one has to live with him, if only for a short while. Zeus sensed his son's disagreement with the whole situation and poked the pup in the back of the head forcefully, leaning down to whisper into his ear.
"She's our guest, like it or not and you will try and act civilized..."
Sitting up straight, the chow gave his new friend a curious glance.
"Something on your mind?"

Harley glanced up to him and said "Oh its nothing. Nothing really. Just ..." she dragged off. She didnt know if this chow really wanted to hear her sad case. For it was just a bunch of Drama that really had to meaning to it, except Harley was a shy dog of showing love to another. She glanced away from the chow and didnt say anything else.

Zeus smiled softly and Derringer just groaned loudly. He hated sad cases.... But Zeus was a caring fatherly individual very wiling to help. With a harsh glare, he shooed his son off with a gruff grunt. The pup scurried away without question, seeking refuge beneath some random car somewhere. Meanwhile, the chow replaced his smile again, tilting his head in a persuasive manner.
"Sorry to say, 'just' is like 'but'. It means there's more...."
He'd seen a lot of bullnuts in his life and he knew the stuff when he saw it...

Harley looked at him with sadness filling in her eyes, she then took a deep long breath and spilled her guts to him. "Well you see" she paused she wasnt going to say names "Well I know this dog, from another city. Who well lets just say fell in love with me at first sight. I didnt like him to much I was more flatterd than anything" she paused this story was just to much drama for her, she then took another breath and began again "As I said, I didnt like him to much at first so he ran away. But when he was gone I relized how much I really did love him. So I followed him here, and tried to tell him how I felt but I never could spit it out" She paused and turned away. She was done with her story and hated herself because of what she had done.

Never taking his eyes off the doberman, the chow listened intently. With very few problems for himself to deal with, he was commonly found listening to others. He had never really considered himself caring until he found himself here, listening to Harley. Maybe he was caring... sort of. Meditative maybe? Watchful was a better way to put it. He kept an eye out for everyone, be it fear of others or a fear of themselves he supposed...
"Doesn't sound like mcuh... Not be insensitive of course, but hear me out. It seems like you're mad at yourself because you found yourself on the horse and fell off. But instead of sitting on the ground, alone and miserable, I'm thinking you should try and get back on. Give it another go, you might do better a second time..."
Pausing, he thought of himself and Desiree...
"Love is a very strange thing, you know. It can pull some apart and bring others together. Which do you think it's supposed to do for you and this dog?"
It was more of a rhetorical question for the fae. Hopefully to make her think... If they both loved each other, they'd have no reason to be apart as they were at the moment.

Harley thought for a moment. She did miss him but she also hated him for leaving her in the first place. He told her countless times that he wanted to hear her say she loved him, but he stuck around to hear her through. Harley didnt respond the chow's word she only shrugged her shoulders. She was confused at this point

Sighing softly and sitting up straight, a thoughtful look upon his face, the chow decided to throw another point in with the others.
"Too many metaphores... My mother told me once that my father was not the kind of dog to be with, heartless and cold and evil. She could never love someone like that but she told him such things anyway to keep him from hurting her. He forced her to say I love you... but she always told me that such words meant so little...."
The chow paused a minute, taking a deep breath before going on...
"...and she was very right. I love my mate with every hair upon my flesh and drop of my blood but I never told her such. Words are just words, nothing to beat yourself up over. If you can use them fine, if you can't... oh well. There's nothing you can really do about it besides get up and try again..."

Harley listened to his words they made since to her she stood up and said "Um I have to go. I need to speak to him, before its to late" she was about to walk out into the rain when she walked back and gave the chow a doggie hug and said "Thanks" she then dashed out into the rain to find Ambervoke
-Ur lucky Harley's not the type to give a dog a hug -

Zeus watched her stand, watching her begin to stride off with a certain amount of pride. He felt important, hopefully having just helped two dogs settle their differences. His fluffy chow face lit up with a soft smile that dropped slowly from his muzzle when the doby returned to nuzzle him in a friendly doggie hug of sorts. Needless to say, he had not been expecting that but his surprise shifted back to his knowing smile, a soft 'You're welcome" coming from his pale muzzle before the fae raced off into the rain. How strange... It seemed to be letting up...
Grinning knowingly again, Zeus slowly shifted into a laying down position, his forepaws crossed and his head down...
