The front door of one of many expensive looking houses opened, letting out loud rock music into the peaceful neighborhood along with a very baffled yellow Labrador. He had no idea why the human was putting him outside without his leash but he didn't have time to ask for the door was immediately shut in his face. That didn't stop the brute from trying. Turning about, the lab pawed and whined and barked at the sturdy piece of wood, praying the two-legger would let him back in or come back with a ball or something! He'd never been left out before without supervision and suddenly felt very afraid of what could happen to him out here. Whimpering loudly, the lab eventually gave up in his pawing, laying down at the top of the concrete stoop and waiting patiently for the man to open the door once again...

[Day, like early morning.. 10:00am-ish]
Bright brown gaze glanced up suddenly at the sound of another voice, folded ears perking forward in surprise. He wasn't sure why he was so shocked to find another dog. He knew there were strays out here and other house dogs, but to find one talking to him... Well, let's just say everything was happening way too fast for the lab. Looking between the Samoyed and the door, which was still closed tightly, the lab uttered a drawn out "Uhhhhhh", his jaw hanging open as he tried to make sense of everything that had happened.
"Uh... Y-yeah. My human seems to have forgotten to grab the leash before we went outside. I'm sure he'll come back in just a moment."
He gave her a wide smile to cover up the nervousness he felt. His human was not coming back, but he'd certainly like to think so...
