Heavy paws padded against the sidewalk briskly, hard dull claws clicking against the concrete softly, accompanied by the soft dripping of blood. The white chow, once running full speed, had now slowed to a brisk lope. The humans were father away from his junkyard than he had originally expected and now, he was tired. He had gotten little sleep as of recent and hadn't eaten a damn thing all day, but stopping now was not an option at this point. With curled tail held over his back and the limp body of his son hanging from his jaws, the chow rounded a corner slowly. The building was in sight now...

Harley was close behind the chow, he was running fast, and harley was keeping with his pace. She didnt want to be right upon his heals so she held herself back. She was wondering where Zues was taking his child

Keeping his pace quick, the chow acknowledged the clicking of claws behind him. The doberman was still following... good... Beginning to pick up speed a little, Zeus held his gaze on the concrete building in front of him. Most dog dreaded this place but he'd seen what the human there do. Dogs have gone in with their insides hanging out and no meat on their bones and come out looking better than ever. With luck they would help his son too...

Harley followed. This place seemed like a strange place to take a weakend child. Yet Zeus new best. All harley could do was to follow. She hoped he knew what he was doing

Getting within a few yards of the building the brute slowed to a stop, glancing around the street cautiously and unsure. he'd only been here a few times and he'd always been in a truck. He was coming back to the one place he hated to be and wasn't sure about what he was doing... but he would do it anyway. It was either that or let his son die in his jaws. Taking a deep breath through his nose, the chow gave Harley a nod, signalling her to remain here so as not to be seen, before moving slowly toward the concrete steps of the building where he placed the limp body down. Leaving his pup there, Zeus reluctantly raced back to the doberman, stopping beside her.
"Okay, here's where you come in handy. Help be get their attention."
Lifting his muzzle to the sky, the chow howled loudly, follwing it by as loud a bark as he could muster.

Nokomis had been following this hull time and was now starting to come out of hidding. She looked around then heard the small sound of clanking. She then saw some guy hidding behind a bush with some long red and silver stick in hand(control stick). She shivered and whimpered. Then she ran out towards her dad as fast as she could. Daddy! Look Dad see there's a human hidding behind that bush. He's holding a stick thingy with a wire like loop at the end! she hid infront of her dad. She looked back to the bush.

Harley nodded. About that time a pup came around. Harley shook her head, this wasnt the time for a pup to be around. Yet she had no place to tell the pup to go home. She looked to Zeus to see what he would do

"Nokomis?"
Looking down at his daughter, the chow watched her approach, confusion on his face. What was she doing here? What man? What bush? Following her gaze, the brute looked up just in time to watch the silver loop fall around his furry neck, tightening quickly, despite his sudden struggle. Growling as always, Zeus pulled back on the leash, his claws scarping on the concrete and his teeth barred. The loop only tightened, cutting off his oxygen and preventing him from telling Harley to get his pup out of here...
Back where he had left Balthazar, a human female had scooped him up in a bathroom towel, carting the puppy off quickly enough, just as the chow had hoped...

Harley first went to save the pup, but as she saw a human take him she knew there was nothing more she could do. Harley then turned back to the other pup. and said "Get out of here" she then turned to the silver pole and lunged at it. If she could only get it out of the mans hands maybe Zeus could be freed
