From across the tracks, the form of a large dog which could easily be mistaken for a small horse lay comfortably watching tiny furry creatures race about below him. His forepaws hung over the side of the platform, dark optics looking down into the ditch that held the subway tracks. Rats, loads of em. They were pretty large rodents too, even by the dane's standards. Some were even bold enough to jump up, trying to take a bite out of his paws. But the dane would have none of this. When a particularly fat rat tried to have his mitts for lunch, the dane swiftly bent his head down and snatched it right out of the air. He didn't eat it, just killed it with a bite to the neck and laid it down beside him as a warning to the other rats. But, the warn was short lived for immediately afterward, the train arrived in a series of squishes and crunches as the rats were well... flattened. It was pretty disgusting, even to such a cold hearted critter as the dane. feeling sick, the dog stood up slowly, walking toward the staircase behind him. But even as he moved away from the scene, his sudden nausea didn't dissipate like he figured it was. Stumbling a little, the large animal braced himself against a wall. Was he really sick? No, he did not get sick. He was not so careless as to do so...

The dane didn't really hear the fae. He could smell her well enough and had he been looking he would've seen her but his hearing was drowned out by a sudden ringing. Standing up as straight as he could, the heavy brute shook his head briskly, expecting the sudden nausea to fly off like watter. It didn't. In fact, the shaking didn't help at all. Falling into a sitting position, the dane panted loudly, trying to catch his breath. No, he was not sick. It was just another of those dizzy spells he'd been having recently. He was not sick... Spawn didn't get sick. He was too strong for that. Now that he was sitting, the nausea drifted away a bit and he could finally focus on the stranger beside him, though he didn't bother to look at her.
"I'm fine."

He could hear her moving about, pointed ear picking up the clicking of her claws. But, the dane kept his gaze to the ground, glancing up when he could see her paws. They were white. Not that he was a loving caring sappy kind of brute but white was a... charming characteristic in his book. It showed toughness if it was clean and carelessness if it was not. He had once held affection for a fluffy white husky and she was a tough fae, able to keep her fur clean on her own. But this particular stranger, now Jem he supposed, might just have an owner to keep her coat clean for her. Clearing his throat so as not to sound too hoarse, the towering brute sat up straight, his dark gaze barreling down into hers.
"No, I didn't. A train ran them over. I did kill the one by the edge though... Why?"

Starting to feel a little light-headed, the brute let his head hang down a bit, closer to the Samoyed's eye level. Rough pink tongue ran over his droopy jowls a few times. Talking about killing and such made him think of blood. Blood was a liquid and now he was just realizing how incredibly thirsty he was. Blinking his eyes tiredly, the brute glanced around the platform the pair sat on. He wasn't sure what he was looking for, but he was sure it would have something do with water. It had been raining not too long ago and the dane had been sure there'd be a puddle somewhere but his search came up empty. Looking back at the female, he gave a short snort.
"Well, looks like all your toys are already dead."

She watched him licking his jowls and watched him carefully, she didint know how to get him to accept her help, maybe if she asked him for directions to somewhere else or something.
"well do you know where i can find somethign fun? maybe youd like to come with me?"
she was a pretty nice girl just full of mischeif.

The dane gave her a very strange glare. It was definately a glare but it seemed empty, no energy to power it. It was almost like it was pasted onto his face or something. It pretty much was actually. Having hardly ever spoke with another dog one on one like this, the brute wasn't sure what to say, how to say it or when exactly to say it. He wanted to tell her to go away but he'd never be so rude, especially not to a friendly fae. Had it ben another brute that approached him, he would've ripped off its face and told it to scram but he was much kinder to face. They were the ones that had it tough. They had to go through the labor and delivery of pups, they were the ones that were force bred and they could not claim lands or lad packs. Life was tough for them and in some cases, it was Spawn that did such things to them... But only when his hormones were out of wack, which happened sometimes...
"Fun? I dunno, depends on your idea of fun... There's a zoo full of human to torment and the market has food..." The dane paused at that moment, a surprised look on his face. One could almost see the lightbulb light up over his head. The market had water too and he was dying of thirst. Actualy, he was dying of something else but he didn't know that yet... "Come. We'll go check out the market. Get some food, chat a little, strip the two-leggers of their treats and so on..."
Pushing himself up onto shaky legs, the great dane stumbled a little bit, nearly falling flat onto his face but swift reflexes sent his forelimbs forward and he caugth himself before he could hit the ground. Yeah, okay, so he was a little off today. Nothing big. He wasn't lightheaded anymore and his panting had stopped...

Finally getting successfully to his feet, the dane dared to take a step forward, then another. Well, he didn't fall, that was a start. Once he was sure that he would not make a fool of himself, the brute turned back to the fae, looking back at her from over his shoulder. She wanted to know his name? Why? Lifting a faded blue eyebrow, the dane considered actually telling the female his name. Why not? Not like it'd hurt him later... right? He'd never told anyone his name, not even that husky had once stalk-erm... followed for protection... Nobody knew his name. Well, guess it's time to change that.
"Spawn. Now, are you coming?"
