Her slender box head gazed around softly. Her tall Dane body moved gracefully towards the junkyard. She gazed to the cars and quietly caught the scent of others and barked quietly into the air. She had only spoken to the one named Chance earlier and hoped to meet the Alpha here so to join hopefully.

Out on his usual patrols, the form of a tall, powerful white chow moved around the edge of the fence that effectively marked off his territory, pausing every now and again to remark the posts and poles. Along his typical rout around the bountries, the brute found himself enroute to a stranger standing at one of the many gates that led into his lands. Taking his typical alpha stance with head high, tail up and a calm yet assertive look in his dark gaze, the chow continued on his course toward the female...
"Can I help you, my dear?"

She was a Great Dane. Whether she tried or not she couldnt be shorter even though she lowered her head in respect and answered him gently "I was wondering if I cold join the pack" Her soft lyrics spoke gnetly.

Once again, the chow found himself face to face with a dane. He'd just accepted one not too long ago and now here stood another one asking for acceptance. Maybe this one knew the male from earlier. yay! More pack members! Feeling very giddy at the moment, but not showing it, he chow merely nodded, putting one paw on her forehead gently in an approving manner.
"That's fine with me, my friend. I'll rely on you to help the other dane care for my family in my absence..."
He let his paw drop down to the ground once again, his claws clicking on the pavement...
"May I know your name stranger?"

She gently nodded her head. She ALMOST jumped up and down but decided aagainst it. Her merle head raised a little as she smirked "I am Navra"

Tilting his head to one side, the chow smiled at the dane curiously. He was always one to ask about strange names and this was another of those times, probably because his name was so typical...
"Navra? Pretty... Does it mean anything?"

Keeping his head tilted to the side, the chow watched the dane with much interest, his curled tail waving slowly as he listened to her words intently.
"Demoness, huh? You don't seem like much I one, I'll have to admit..."
Laughing lightly himself, the brute moved off to the left a little bit, pausing to look back at the female.
"Well, Navra, you may call me Zeus. Would you like to see your charges?"

"Well, they're this way. Follow me..."
Beaming her his typical charming smile, something he didn't actually do very often, the chow turned to trot down one of the main paths that led to the center of his terra. It was a wide trek bordered by tall heaps of cars and junk on each side and seemed perfectly straight. Though not a huge stretch of land, the territory was big enough to make the trot a decently long one so the brute decided to strike up conversation...
"So, Navra... Do you have much patience?"

Looking up at her, the chow sighed in exasperation. Lucky for him, considering the alpha male had little to none of the delicate trait...
"Good. You'll need it against my son... He's a bit... oh, what's the word? Hard-headed? Spoiled? Rude? He's not a nice fella' and I don't know why... But that who he is and you will be dealing with it... You and another dane I accepted just this morning."

Looking back down the path momentarily, the chow made a left, going down a shallow narrow path that led down into a huge pit at the back of the lot. What human put that there, the alpha could only guess but down in the pit one could see a ring of car seats. At the back of the circle, up against the back wall of the pit was a big van backseat and on it sat a tan pup somewhere near six to eight months old. between his paws was something random, upon which he was chewing...
"Derringer... that's him up ahead..."
